My Silent Auction is now finished, Thank you to everyone for your generous bids.

In March 2019 I was settling down with my wonderful fiancé and with our new baby daughter. One day I felt very ill and had a dizzy spell and after going to the hospital the doctor found I had a brain tumour.

The horror was unimaginable and doctors immediately organised for Amelie to safely have an emergency cesarean section before the doctors could schedule brain surgery less than a week later.

Due to breathing issues after surgery I was given a very low survival rate and the road to recovery has been very hard, filled with hurdles and challenges along the way as I continue my recovery journey.

The tumour I had was on the brain stem and cerebellum which controls balance and co ordination.

I am raising money via an online auction which I am gladly taking any donations for and a just giving page, to raise funds to go a specialist rehab centre in Hull, the innovative technology the centre has to offer will hopefully allow me to walk again through coordinated therapy and repetition.

My goal through this whole journey has been to walk the dog in the stubble fields outside my house but most recently Amelie said one night, “mummy when you’re better can you pick me up from the door at nursery?” So, that is my new goal.

I have raised funds for various charities in the past. I am keen to go to Hull where there’s a specialist rehab centre who uses cutting edge technology to help retrain the brain. If you would like to donate to the auction please click this link, any donation would be greatly appreciated Via my Just Giving Page.
